
Cutting-edge was a great idea, however, when we left a few bunch of computers in our rural natives, we soon realized they were just dust stands without the right skilled operators. Epiphany hit us like tides! And that’s when we knew, if initiatives need to work, there needs to be a team who can built a team further.
We took sabbaticals, and ran to our natives. We walked through the patchy roads and no roads, waded through darkness. Soon to realize, how badly our towns needed a make over. The churning started, and we made a commitment and life wasn’t the same thereafter.
We setup the first skill development Centre in a rural village in Kolhapur. We talked to schools and colleges, and joined hands with the locals. We were greeted with some harsh words, but some brave women held our backs – one of them – our founder Sujata.
She braved through the public angst and shielded us, because she knew – our initiative will make her ‘native’ what she always dream of.
